From Ningin: The series will be coming back on January 4th after about a year since the last chapter. It’s one of my favorite series but it’s gone on a hiatus so many times. Each time it stops, there’s a huge cliffhanger. It’s bad enough they’re stuck in the cell saga(from DBZ). Who knows how long it’ll last until it goes back on hiatus. More »

If you thought giant robots were something only out of japanese anime, think again. Meet Giant Torayan. Sculpted by Kenji Yanobe, this giant robo-baby was recently spotted in Tokyo’s Roppongi district during an art festival. Besides scoring super brownie points with otakus everywhere, the robot is capable of singing, dancing (although I’d hardly call swinging your arms dancing unless you’re me at my high school prom), and of course – breathing fire. I’ve included a video below for you to check out, as a picture of a robot breathing fire isn’t half as good as a video of a robot breathing fire. More »
Everything these days seems to end up becoming an anime. Take Devil May Cry for example, an anime based off the popular Capcom video game franchise. Introducing blaster guns, mechanical monstrosities, and other high-tech future gadgetry into a world of cowboys, six shooters, and saloon sipping whiskey can prove quite a challenge. What you may or may not know, is that a year before Wild Wild West was tainting silver screens across the nation in 1999, another sci-fi/western mashup had been created. More »
Anime, so what is it? Why is it called called anime? And what’s the big fuss about it? Most of you reading this probably already have a wealth of knowledge on the subject but for those new to the scene, let’s go over the basics. More »

Welcome to Plusle and Minun Reviews. You may be asking yourself why I chose these two as the face of my reviews, allow me to elaborate. Plusle (left) and Minun (right) hail from the world Pokemon and bear a striking resemblance to the license’s well known face: Pikachu. The obvious difference of course is that one has a positive appearance and the other a negative one. More »
