Dragon Quest IX receives it’s North American subtitle

While gamers in Japan have been delving into the world of Dragon Quest IX for some time now, gamers here in North America have been left wondering when we’ll get to lay our dirty mitts on the new installment of Dragon Quest (or if you’re impatient like me you’ve been playing the japanese version). Thankfully, it seems our day of playing DQ9, in english mind you, might finally be at hand as Square-Enix has trademarked Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies here in North America. Sure it’s not a release date, but it’s a start. Stay tuned for a formal release date announcement as this is sure to be one of the biggest titles to be released for the Nintendo DS next year.
