As a huge fan of Jpop, I’ve definitely heard my share of songs from the land of the rising sun. Even if you can’t understand most of what the singer is saying, the emotion in their voices can still shine through. Let’s talk about love, for instance.

If you’re looking for something sad and calm, check out Daisuki da yo! by Ai Otsuka. This song is about a lost loved one and the heartbreak that follows.

If bouncy and happy is what you want, check out Happy Summer Wedding by Morning Musume. A young girl tells her parents about the man she’s going to marry.

And finally, for something to close your eyes and imagine to, give Sakura Drops by Hikaru Utada a listen. I definitely go off into my own little world whenever I hear it.

Cool! I love Utada Hikaru! But they’re so many love songs from her too choose from, it’s hard to decide a favorite.

Good song by Ai Otsuka, even though I can’t really stand her voice.

A list of only 3 songs is too small for me. There are so many other Jpop love songs out there that deserve to be heard. I don’t think I can narrow my list down to only 3.

I was expecting to see Arashi’s One Love on there or Love so Sweet. :O
Haha. Just kidding, but seriously. :D
