Ai Takahashi, or Ai-chan as she’s sometimes known, may not have that much of a standout personality in Morning Musume’s cluster, but that’s no reason to write her off as boring.

For starters, she’s an excellent actress, stealing the lead roles such as Cinderella in Hello Project’s production of Cinderella, and Kana in the TV drama Q.E.D. She’s one of the very few members to keep their image clean (no “talking to a boy” or smoking-type situations) - considering she joined Morning Musume in 2001, that’s quite an accomplishment. So even though she may not have the most bubbly personality or act the coolest, she’s not to be underestimated. Rock on, Ai-chan!
