Know Your Japanese TV: Human Tetris

If you’re like me, you spent many an hour in childhood pushing buttons on your Gameboy trying to get all those colored blocks in the right places. It was addictive, but fun! Now try to imagine being a human Tetris piece. Exactly.

These poor contestants must contort their body to fit into certain (hilariously impossible) shapes to avoid being pushed into a pool of warm water. Oh sure, it looks fun to the audience, but I’d like to see you try to do the splits, while tossing somebody up into the air, with only a few seconds to react. No hurry, I have all day.
