The popularity of technology-based toys has been booming, growing ever-more popular each year. In contrast, Japanese manufacturers Muji have collaborated with classic toy moguls Lego to put a new twist on two favorite past-times.
Less over-stimulating and more inspiring than the latest hand-held game device, these 4 special boxes combine the familiar plastic blocks from Lego with a few sheets of paper and couple of hole punchers. Doesn’t sound like much, but with the right tools and a heap of creative brain-power, this “toy” can yield some clever and cute results. Just look at that little alligator in the picture!
I can’t believe I didn’t think of this sooner, to be honest. Sticking little paper shapes between Legos seems like an obvious evolutionary step in the art of playing with toys, but apparently that didn’t occur to me. Many people have mastered the ability to create god-like structures with those amazing little blocks, I’m sure this will only make for more incredible and unique Lego (x Muji) displays.
What would you make?
