Nostalgia
Much like the Tin Woodsman, devoid of any heart.

The Good:
+ Good but not great visuals.
+ Nice attention to detail such as airship upgrades being visible (ie: different bow blades, cannons, guns, etc) as well as character weapons changing depending on what they have equipped.
+ A fresh and interesting setting - Earth, circa 1920’s, with real-world cities to visit.
+ Airship combat is a nice change-up from the tired on-foot combat.

The Bad:
- If you’re looking for an RPG with an excellent story, keep looking. There’s only a simple and mediocre story to be found here.
- Bland characters, be it party members or NPC’s, without much personality to speak of.
- Character models are very early playstation 1 quality and I don’t mean that in a good way.
- Nostalgia’s combat system is the typical turn-based affair with nothing setting it apart from the competition whatsoever.
- Why have the ability to steal if most enemies (especially bosses) don’t carry any items?
- Uninspired enemy designs ranging from rats, spiders, slimes, and poison slimes to name a few.
- An overall lack of charm. Whether it’s the characters, enemies, or towns and cities of Nostalgia, there isn’t much to connect with here.

Overall Rating: C-

Disclaimer: This game is far less epic and exciting than this trailer would lead you to believe. Buyer beware.

Well this is one game my friends won’t like…I don’t know if they have even heard of it yet.

That’s too bad… I keep hearing this game is not that great, and I was really looking forward to it!
