This Is It: Michael Japan Is Back

Well sort of. If by Michael Jackson you mean ‘a life sized doll of early 90’s Jackson’ then yes. This is exactly what’s been rolled out in Japan to promote the DVD release of This Is It.

While I never was a giant fan of the ‘King’ of pop, I do find the recent Japanese obsession with his death to be quite interesting. Even now, quite a long time after his death, I still hear Japanese coworkers and students talking about him and how amazing he is.

All I do know is that a life sized doll of Jackson is creepy no matter how to cut it.
