Domo-kun Likes The Olympics

While you were off watching the Olympics on regular TV, Japan was watching the Olympics on insane Japanese TV. This includes such wonders as faxes from athletes, an awesome ice set, and being NHK we also get some Domo-kun thrown in.

I was actually serious about all of that. While watching the Olympics in Japan I was treated to nightly interviews with athletes, reaction shots of normal Japanese people, and way too many faxes from athletes with weird drawings on them.

Yes, Japan, the insane modern wonder that it is, still heavily relies on faxes. Even when it comes to the Olympics.

But enough of that, let’s watch some Domo-kun!
