Finally! They have Kaibutsu-kun episodes 3 and 4 have been released. First, I am sad to say that I will no longer be doing recaps of Sunao ni Narenakute and Tsuki no Koibito. Tsuki no Koibito didn’t really meet my expectations and was not very good in my opinion. Sunao ni Narenakute is really good, but so many things happen in one episode that my brain is having a hard time keeping track!! I will definitely be buying its soundtrack!! I hope you will all check out these dramas.
On to Kaibutsu-kun episode 3, this episode was all about friendship. Kaibutsu is told that the reason he can use his powers is because Hiroshi is his friend, thus friendship power. The truth is, is that Hiroshi has a stone brought into the human world. Hiroshi and Kaibutsu get into a fight, which then ends in Kaibutsu rescuing Hiroshi. Hiroshi also swallows the stone to protect it from the Akuma.
In episode 4, Kaibutsu is forced to be a grandson to an old lady they think saw Kaibutsu use his powers. The lady acts like a total grandma by meddling and making kids do things. Kaibutsu then realizes he loves and needs her when he realizes that they both eat dinner alone (or anyway he used to since his dad was too busy) only to find out that the Akumas have killed her at a nursing home by draining the elderly’s life forces. Ohno shows how good of an actor he is by bawling his eyes out. Seriously, he was that good. By the end of this episode, you can tell that he is maturing (a little).
Disclaimer: Check out the episodes yourself for full effect!!!
