Popular girl group AKB48 recently announced that they would be starring in a new NTV television show called “AKB600sec.” If you couldn’t tell from the name, each episode will run for a mere ten minutes. Each episode will focus on a different member and in the short time allotted, viewers will be able to follow the idol around as she goes through her schedule—from performing onstage to practicing in the studio, and even shopping.
AKB600sec is currently scheduled to run Monday through Thursday from July 5th to July 29th and will only cover sixteen of the girls in AKB48. NTV has not yet announced which girls will be participating in the show.
If you’re like me and you think ten minutes is far from enough, have no fear. Fans will be able to purchase the uncut ninety minute version of the show through the NTV website every day (which will come on a micro SD card).
Are you excited for AKB600sec? What do you think about the micro SD cards? Let me know.
