It’s time…for New York Times’s best selling manga of the week (ending July 10). Without further ado, check out our top 10 sellers.

1. Ouran High School Host Club, Vol. 14
2. Naruto, Vol. 48
3. One Piece, Vol. 54
4. The Last Airbender
5. Vampire Knight, Vol. 10
6. Black Butler, Vol. 2
7. Shaman King, Vol. 29
8. Black Butler, Vol. 1
9. Nana, Vol. 21
10. Stepping on Roses, Vol. 2

So I can honestly say my jaw dropped when I saw that Naruto wasn’t number 1. That just defied all the fundamental rules of manga-reading, in my opinion. But nevertheless, Ouran High School Host Club is amazing, and for all of you who haven’t read slash watched it yet, I highly, highly recommend it. Black Butler appears to be a new manga that’s hot hot hot, having grabbed two spots on the top 10. Also surprisingly, Bleach got kicked out—flat. The usual runner-up to Naruto appears to have lost a foothold in the top selling list, which I found surprising. What I found interesting was that The Last Airbender is now a manga. Well, guess that’s what I’m going to be looking for at Barnes&Nobles next time.

But enough about me, what do you think?

Is The Last Airbender -the- Avatar: The Last Airbender?
Hope that manga will have a whole other storyline and drawed just as good as it was in the series, that way I might consider buying this manga as I’m so obsessed with Avatar hehe. I’m suprised Naruto got to #2 and Bleach isn’t even in the list anymore, while Bleach is one of the most known mangas in the world .___. Of course, Naruto stays #1 at that, but here it is #2 >__>

Well, that may be true, but there are still a LOT of people who live in the USA who can find this interesting! And I’m sure it’s not true that no one who lives outside of the USA finds this un-interesting. NYT is huge and there’s easy access; shows how manga is doing outside of its native country. :D!
But regarding the post…yay Ouran! I never actually followed the manga, but the anime is hilarious. One of my favorites. Thanks for the list!

I love Ouran High School Host Club to no end I re-read the manga and re-watch the anime all the time ^^
But it is a shock that naruto isnt number 1.

I go there to read mangas, magazines and drink coffee from Starbucks hehe
I am surprised that Naruto wasn’t number 1 either hmmm weird whoaaaaaaaa where’s Bleach!!! >___< OMG major change in rank!!! but I am kinda happy that Ouran is number 1… I love that manga!
