AKB48 Member Kasai Tomomi to Appear In Digimon Xros Wars

AKB48 member Kasai Tomomi has been casted as a guest voice actress on the popular TV Asahi animation “Digimon Xros Wars.” With the return of Digimon to TV screens after a second three year absence, it seems that Toei will try anything to grab the audience’s attention. Toei has tried all they can to keep it alive in the combined six years off air and two cancellations. Kasai Tomomi is the voice of the ancient princess Digimon, Bastemon.

Kasai Tomomi held a press conference in Tokyo recently talking about the upcoming role. Kasai appeared in a similar outfit to Bastemons sexy look. Bastemon is called the goddess of cats. It loves to be showy and has a sly personality, and its specialty is using its charmingly sparkling eyes and jewels worn all over its body to bewitch the opponent allowing to pull their strings as it pleases.

Kasai Tomomi will make her first appearance on Digimon in a one hour special airing on September 14.
