Ex-Morning Musume member Maki Goto makes her first return to “SOUND IN MY LIFE” (TOKYO FM), a radio show, after her last visit 2 years ago. Recently, Maki Goto made an appearance at the Shibuya Spain-zaka Studio for the live brodcast of the radio show. This is her first vist on the show since joining her new company AVEX in 2008. Since this was a live radio Maki was surrounded by many of her fans only being divided by a glass window.

I am personally a fan of her’s and wish her great success on her career.

she was the morning musume member whose addition single-handedly ushered in morning musume’s golden age. during maki goto’s tenure as a momusu member, sales of their singles - that’s right, singles - never went below 440000, and hit 1 million twice. remember, these are singles we’re talking about.

sure, some of the singles were mediocre songs that somehow sold well (like son dam bi’s “saturday night” or snsd’s “gee”, for example), but morning musume was a HUGE deal during that period.
