So it seems Tarou can really man up when the time calls, as exemplified by this episode of MM! Though he’s far from curing Yuuno’s androphobia, he certainly took a huge step forward by beating the crap outta that playboy Yoshioka.

hearing Azunyan moan like that might just be a little too much stimulation…

The introduction of Yuuno’s friend Mamiya Yumi (Gibu Yuko) serves as a segue for Tarou to prove he’s suitable classmate material for Yuuno, with Yumi initially intending for Yuuno to transfer schools because of her problem. Heck, if I was Yumi I’d be worried sick if a weird guy like Tarou was around my best friend. Shit really starts to hit the fan when Yuuno runs into the abusive guy who tried to date her before, Yoshioka. I’m just wondering why Tatsukichi wasn’t more worried when he saw them together while walking, with Yuuno looking like she just the grudge or something.

she’s not a one-trick pony, look at that beautiful arm bar

The fight scene was kinda, how do I put it? I certainly wasn’t expecting glowing punches and one punch knockouts in this series. It wasn’t badly done, but it was no where NEAR the intensity of something like Clannad After Story episode 8 (skip to 2:30). Now THAT is drama done well. But it’s really not fair to compare this show and Clannad, since Clannad’s somewhat of a masterpiece, but I’ll give it points for at least trying. Plus, this is mainly a romantic comedy, so I can’t really expect to it be dedicated to dishing out the sentimental stuff.

CROSS COUNTER!!

Not really much to say this episode, other than that Yuuno definitely likes Tarou now. If only things were as rosy as in Tarou’s dog dream, however. On another note, Mio in a nurse dress = hawt.

Oh, and since I was reminded of how utterly awesome Clannad was, if you haven’t watched it, YOU MUST or you’re not my friend anymore.
