During the Japanese premiere of the first live-action “GANTZ” movie on Monday, it was announced that the U.S. premiere has been decided along with plans of distribution to approximately 300 theaters across the United States. The movie is based off a popular manga, and it stars Kazunari Ninomiya and Kenichi Matsuyama as the main characters. More »

Four bodies, three male and one female, were found recently in a locked van outside in the lot of a temple in Saitama. A charcoal stove was found in the back seat of the van. This kind of stove is usually used in carbon monoxide poisoning suicides, which have lead police to believe the four had committed suicide. The van was also locked and sealed from the inside with tape. No suicide note was found, but unless there was a way for someone to escape after taping all the windows from the inside, I too would think this is a suicide. More »

So who does have the “perfect” Asian face? 22 year old college student Murayama Nagomi will be representing Japan at the 2011 Miss International Beauty Pageant - she is the one on the right. She was selected by judges for having the perfect “asian face.” I’m not really sure what their criteria were - is it the hair, the facial structure? Maybe it’s everything. Gemini F acted in a very short play called Sayonara - she was controlled by a team of people off-stage, and on stage, she was with an actress who commented that her acting was a little stiff.
