Upcoming movie ‘SPACE BATTLESHIP Yamato‘ featuring Kimura Takuya has had great anticipation and there was already a private screening of the film on November 1st. It was announced that the private screening had more than 100,000 requests for a seat but unfortunately there were only 3,800 seats available.

SPACE BATTLESHIP Yamato is based off an animation that was broad-casted back in 1974. The movie is full of action and the lovely Kimura Takuya and actress Kuroki Meisa! During the post-screening press conference, the two main leads expressed their concern about viewer reactions.

Kimura Takuya stated, “I felt a little anxious about seeing your facial expressions after you watched the movie, but now that I see them, I feel full of exaltation.”

Kuroki Meisa expressed “I felt pressure and tension in the beginning, because it’s a movie which has been loved by many people, but I tried my best.” Meisa also expressed her happiness about working with Takuya for the very first time.
