You are looking at the “Ushiku Daibutsu” a bronze statue that depicts “Amitabha Buddha” and it is the tallest bronze statue in the world measuring 120 meters in height and you can visit at the Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan.

As you can see on the picture above, Its almost three times taller compared to New York’s “Statue of Liberty“, almost twice the height of the “National Diet Building” and about eight times taller compared to “Daibutsu” which can also be seen in Japan at the Nara Prefecture. That’s amazingly huge isn’t it?

If just in case that isn’t enough to amaze you, here’s one of its index finger which is 7 meters long!

To keep you interested this statue isn’t just your ordinary statue because it has five floors which showcases small Buddha statues and they also offer Sutra Transcription for the visitors and tourist.

I think its a tourist spot you shouldn’t miss if ever you would be in Japan this Holiday Season. What do you think?
