“Evangelion 02: You can not advance” was a mega hit in Japan when it was released back in June 2009, earning more than 4,000,000,000 Yen. Like their other Evangelion movies, this one will also be exported to North America and will hit US theaters starting January 2011.

ELEVEN ARTS is in charge of releasing this movie, and this company is famous for releasing “Ashita no kioku” and “Bushi no ichibun.” They also worked with FUNimation Entertainment to release “Fullmetal Alchemist” and “Dragonball.”

Their previous movie that was released in the US earned around $107,797, which isn’t too shabby.

I have never watched this series to be honest, so this will be a good opportunity for me to watch this in my local movie theater when it gets released!
