Momoiro Clover’s Reni Takagi has fans worried that she may be suffering from an eating disorder due to her sudden weight loss.

Earlier in March, Universal Music Japan held a public even with Momoclo and 150 fans. At this event, they held a weigh-in section, where the members had to weigh themselves in front of fans. In order to debut their weights had to be below the “Idol weight,” which is calculated at (Height – 100)×0.9. However for Momoclo, they had to follow the formula (Height – 100)×0.8. Laughing, the girls weighed in. Sadly only 5 out of the 6 passed; Takagi was .8 kg over the limit. She was told to re-weigh herself in 2 month, and when she re-weighed at the end of April, she passed.

Now, just recently in October, fans started to worry that she might have developed an eating disorder due to her humiliation. The label meant for the corner to be light-hearted, but it’s hard to believe that they didn’t actually think someone would be hurt by that. Judging by the pictures of her recently compared to before, she does look like she has lost too much weight. Her eyes are sunken in, and her teeth are sticking far out. Hopefully, she doesn’t have an eating disorder, and if she does, that she can get help.
