VAMPS member HYDE has recently earned a role in voice acting for the anime ‘Bakuman‘. This will be his first take on voice acting and he has finished recording as of December 13th. Bakuman is an on-going manga shown on ‘Weekly Shonen Jump‘.

HYDE will take on the character HYDE, a producer of KOOGY (Morikubo Shotaro) who is a musician and Manga-ka. KOOGY will be singing a song, ‘GET UP‘ from VAMPS 2nd album, ‘BEAST‘. The song was originally in English but HYDE himself translated to Japanese. For those HYDE fans, the song sung by HYDE himself is available in VAMPS single ‘MEMORIES‘.

The broadcast of the episode in which HYDE will make an appearance will be revealed in the January 17th Edition of Weekly Shonen Jump. To view photos of HYDE in the recording studio, visit here.

Wow nice! I’m a fan of Hyde and i’m currently watching the anime. Can’t wait to see the episode where his character appears in the story. I had no idea he was gonna be voicing a character in it. :D
