
Plastic Tree, a visual kei rock band who debuted in the year 1997, has just released their 30th single, “Mirai Iro” last December 15 and was able to enter the weekly sales chart and ranked top 10.
But just last Saturday, it was announced that Plastic Tree’s vocalist, Ryutaro Arimura was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare and incurable disorder that affects the nervous system and causes paralysis.
Just last December 21, Arimura experienced a high fever and complained of the weakness in his body the next day. He was then diagnosed by the doctor and found out that he was suffering from Guillain-Barré syndrome.
The band then decided to cancel two of their concerts scheduled for December 28-29 at Tokyo’s JCB Hall, despite Arimura wanting to perform
