There is no such things as dead trains in Japan because when a train goes old, someone always finds a way to reuse it. Sometimes the old trains are purchased by other train lines within Japan or if they are just too old to function, they are used as scrap or they are sent overseas.

The reason why Japanese trains are such high quality machines is because the trains are very safe and they rarely break down. Being one the most developed countries in the world, Japan will always find more efficient ways to improve life.

A train found in the Philippines was shipped from Japan and it still bares the Japanese paint job but of course the paint has worn off a bit.

Some of the trains that were once in Japan are now in Indonesia. The owners of the train obviously doesn’t care about the safety of it’s costumers because if the train is full, your only choice is to cling onto the sides of the train or climb on top onto the roof.
