Idol group, AKB48 officially announced that they have formed a new unit named “Not Yet” consisting of members Ohshima Yuko, Kitahara Rie, Sashihara Rino, and Yokoyama Yui. They are scheduled to release the debut single, “Shumatsu Not yet” on March 16th.

The big announcement of forming a new unit happened on January 21st at the “AKB48 Request Hour Set List Best 100 2011” They also performed their debut single, “Shumatsu Not yet” in front of the crowd.

Total producer, Akimoto Yasushi reasoned out why he named the unit as such because, “Both their dancing and singing skills are not that good yet, in other words they still have potential to develop”
