It’s been 200 episodes since Naruto Shippuden has started, but the plot is getting as heavy as ever! After finally returning to the original plot from countless filler episodes, Uzumaki Naruto seems to be strong-willed and loyal to his best friend enough to plead the Raikage to change his mind about the missing-nin Uchiha Sasuke. (Warning: Potential Spoiler Alert!)

After Pein’s invasion of Konoha, Lady Tsunade is in a coma and Danzo, the secret leader of Root, a subdivision of the ANBU has taken over. He has also given permission to kill Uchiha Sasuke without reason for being a rouge ninja.

Naruto, after encountering the Cloud ninja of the Land of Lightning and their hatred for Sasuke in apparently taking away their master-Killer Bee, recovers from his injuries and goes with Yamato and Kakashi in tow to sought out the Raikage.

Yamato tells the Raikage about how their cloud ninja had tried to get the Byakugan from the Hyuuga clan years ago was still unsettled and to not forget about the sacrifies made by the Hidden Village of the Leaf. He goes on to further tell the Raikage to at least listen to Naruto’s plea. However, the Raikage dismisses the thought by stating: “How Foolish.”

Meanwhile, Sasuke and his team, Team Taka, have been ordered by Akatsuki member Tobi to assassinate the Danzo after failing to kill Killer Bee. Zetsu, another member of the Akatsuki leads them into the Land of Iron and they all await for the signal from Juugo’s hawk about weaknesses in the security line in the Kage Summit.

I hope Naruto’s plea goes through to the Raikage to at least acknowledge the fact about Sasuke and to not try to kill him in the first appearance. However, I think the Raikage will brush Naruto off and until they get to the summit, and start the meeting, only then will he acknowledge the pleas of Naruto.
