According to Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday Magazine, Yellow Tanabe’s Kekkaishi supernatural action manga will reach its end in the next issue, set for a release on April 6. More »


For those who didn’t know, Sunrise’s Code Geass has had a manga prequel that’s been in serialization for some time now (that’s something I didn’t know). The prequel, Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya, lies in the same timeline as the anime, the story is actually set during Japan’s Edo era. This leaves it open for comparisons to be drawn to other historical manga, and that’s where we get problems. More »

A group of students in Germany created a life-sized version of the game, Fruit Ninja in the CAVE, where you can play Fruit Ninja in a little white room and use your hands as swords by means of virtual reality. From Girlybubble: Sometimes the weirdest types of merchandise are produced. Well, this particular one isn’t too extremely strange. Japanese online retail store JBOX has come out with Hello Kitty to Issho squeeze pillows. They feature the work famous bishoujo artists as well as our beloved Hello Kitty. Don’t know what “bishoujo” means? Literally “pretty girls” in Japanese, these characters are commonly found in…hentai games. More »
