Somehow this doesn’t shock me. Almost three quarters of Japanese girls feel overweight even though these girls are more underweight than the US, China, and South Korea. According to a survey done in Tokyo, Japanese highschool girls have the lowest self esteem compared to the other countries. Japanese girls were also the harshest about themselves compared to the others.

I thought the United States had bad body image, but I guess I was wrong. Hopefully, these girls can learn that outer beauty isn’t everything.
