It’s no surprise that hacking communities along with the otaku have found another way to mess with the big dogs. This time they’ve looped their way into the Nintendo 3DS and it’s augmented reality features. As a little review, this feature on the 3DS is processed through a scan, using its camera, in a certain card. By doing this a image is created that is positioned similarly to the card and is what generates the 3D picture illusion. The picture has the capability to “change the environment around it, or interact with it, such as a dragon that pops out of your desk.”
Sometimes these hackers just have dirty minds… desire to know what I mean? You can read more about that here.
I guess I can say he’s got skills… but it’s still a bit pervertedly bizarre.
How ’bout you?
