According to Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday Magazine, Yellow Tanabe’s Kekkaishi supernatural action manga will reach its end in the next issue, set for a release on April 6.
The story is all about Yoshimori Sumimura, a boy who is the 22nd Kekkaishi of the Simimura clan. As the Kekkaishi, he and his rival, Tokine Yukimura, protect the land of Karasumori from supernatural creatures.
The manga has been in the Weekly Shonen Sunday Magazine since 2003, just right after the magazine ran Tanabe’s prototype manga for the story several months ago. Additionally, Viz Media will be publishing the 25th of the 33 current manga volume next month.
Adult Swim, the late night counter part of Cartoon Network has been making the english dub of Sunrise’s 2006-2008 Kekkaishi television anime series since last May.
