Manga creator, Naoko Takeuchi expressed her sympathy towards the victims of the great March 11 earthquake in Japan. As a mother of two, she shows her concern especially to expectant mothers, babies, children and to those who are already mothers.

On March 20, Takeuchi posted 3 messages and her husband Yoshihiro Togashi made a message on the Shonen Jump website to show their support.

Takuechi’s sketches are posted in Bandai’s official Sailor Moon website. The magical girl manga’s precursor, Codename: Sailor V, debuted in Kodansha’s Run-Run magazine in 1991. You can check out the sketches below:
