Gonzo’s Nyanpire The Animation television anime series has revamped it’s official website and now has a minute long streaming promotional video. The anime series revolves around a black cat who was abandoned and left to starve. Just before the cat was about to die, a vampire emerged from the darkness and gave the poor cat blood. Now, “Nyanpire” (combination of the Japanese pronunciations for a cat’s meow and “vampire”) lives seemingly like an ordinary cat who is raised by a human girl.

Takahiro Yoshimatsu is the director and character designer of the new project. Natsuko Takahashi is supervising the scripts. The cast is as follows: Ami Koshimizu as Nyanpire, Noriaki Sugiyama as Masamunya, Dokuganryū Jun Fukuyama as Nyantenshi and Yuko Goto as Chachamaru.

This will premiere in summer and will be Gonzo’s first new television series in two years.
