The cast has already been revealed for the Japanese rendition of Hana Kimi, with the main character being played by AKB48 Senbatsu leader, Maeda Atsuko, that’s not the only AKB going into this drama.

It has just been announced that their 22nd single, which is scheduled for August 24th, will serve as the opening theme song! And it will be sung by the twenty-one senbatsu girls. What an exciting thing to look forward to!
