Arashi’s Aiba Masaki was recently discharged from the hospital on July 4th, after being diagnosed with spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung). Aiba had returned to work on the July 5th to record “VS Arashi,” and greeted the audience saying, “Thank you for your concern. As you can see, I have recovered. Please continue to support Arashi.” He wrote to the fans, “From today, I will take care of my health and do my best not to trouble you more than I have already.“
Aiba didn’t have surgery, but had taken medicine and rested while in the hospital. He wouldn’t have any difficulties with daily activities, but Aiba took precautions and refrained from playing any physical games. It’s good to know that he’s feeling better and has had a good rest while in the hospital.
