It was just revealed that Superfly will be releasing her next single titled, “Ai wo Kurae“, on October 12th. She made an announcement in a talk segment during her tour, “Superfly Tour 2011 ‘Mind Traveller,” bringing cheers from the crowd.

“Ai wo Kurae” is said to be a rock number filled with positive energy. Superfly wrote the song while thinking, “We each live out our own righteousness and walk the paths we believe. Even if we are turned away from the world and get laughed at, we put all our love into a song, and walk the paths we believe.”

The song has also been chosen to be the theme song for the upcoming movie, “Smuggler – Omae no Mirai wo Hakobe“. The movie’s ending theme song, “I My Me Mine Mine“, will be included in the single as its coupling track as well. The single’s DVD will feature footage from her free concert at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, which was held in commemoration of her third album’s release.
