It has just been announced that Konomi Takeshi’s popular manga, “New Prince of Tennis“ will be adapted into an anime series!
“New Prince of Tennis” is the sequel to “Prince of Tennis“, and is currently serialized in the manga magazine, “Jump Square“. The story continues after the nationwide tournament that took place in “Prince of Tennis”. ‘Seishun Academy’ and their rival schools are permitted to enter the U-17 Invitational Tournament by special participation, and will compete against high school students.
More information about this adaptation is expected to be released in the coming future.
Meanwhile, the movie “Prince of Tennis The Movie – Eikoku Teikyu Kessen!” is expected to hit theaters nationwide on September 3. The movie is all about the “Prince of Tennis” all-stars who challenge champions from all over the world.
