Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari is now the new CM character for the popular snack, ‘Pocky.’ He will begin appearing in the latest CM on September 20th. The CM features Ninomiya dancing to hip-hop artist MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This“.

There are two versions of the CM: a ‘Drink & Po’ episode, and an ‘ALL’ episode. In the ‘Drink & Po’ episode, Ninomiya is dressed fully in black while he dances with one pocky in each hand. He holds up a glass with the pocky, using it as a stirring stick, after mishearing the lyrics, “Can’t touch this“, as “Chanto aundesu (It matches perfectly)“. In the ‘All’ episode, the backup dancers wear different outfits to match each situation, such as ‘New Years’, ‘karaoke’, and ‘beach’, showing that Pocky can be great for various occasions.
