Famous Japanese model Rola will be making her singing debut in ISSA × SoulJa’s upcoming single, “I hate you“, which has been announced to be released in October!

“I hate you” is a ballad that would explain a man’s anger after being cheated on, as well as the woman’s POV of loneliness. Rola’s lines in the song will consist of “I want to cry, but I can’t cry…” when singing about the woman’s point of view.

Rola actually wasn’t originally apart of the song, but after ISSA and Soulja proposed a collaboration on the terms of, “Expressing a cheating woman’s feelings, it would turn out to be an emotional song.” While searching for a female singer to guest star in their song, they had been attracted by Rola’s exotic looks and her desire for the singing industry, which therefore resulted in requesting her to collaborate.

Rola revealed her thoughts about the whole thing with, “I was nervous, but I had fun. Also, the song is cool, so I’m glad I got to be a part of it. I want to continue to challenge myself.” Meanwhile, ISSA expressed, “The song turned out to be a even better song. Please enjoy ROLA’s cute voice and expressions.”
