Halloween isn’t typically celebrated in Japan, but it doesn’t stop anime artists and manga artists from drawing your favorite anime casts in Halloween costumes! And plus, these artists come up with awesome Halloween costume designs that you wouldn’t probably see in the real world…because they’re complex!

Black Butler
We see Sebastian Michaelis dressed up in black and holding a pumpkin full of the cast from Black Butler. The remaining character are all dressed up - we see a few of them as the Wizard of Oz charcters and Earl as a sour-looking king. Hey, cheer up, kid, there’s candy!

Cardcaptor Sakura
It’s cute Sakura dressed up! As the Clow Card representative, her friend Tomoyo creates quite a few costumes and outfits for her to wear. And here, we see Sakura dressed up as a cute witch in a black dress and black witch hat. She’s on her Clow staff with Kero and Spinel Sun watching in the background.

Cowboy Bebop
The cast of Cowboy Bebop all have quite the mischievous looks on their face! It seems like they’re ready to pull tricks and pranks on unsuspecting people. Whoooo~ They’re out to scare you this Halloween!

Full Metal Alchemist
Roy Mustang looks quite smug as a vampire, his trusty subordinate Riza as a cat. Ed doesn’t look like his’s having too much fun dressed up as another cat. Alphonse is too busy stuffing his pumpkin face with lots of candy and Winry looks quite cute as a sorceress.

Gundam 00
Setsuna, Lyle, Allelujah, and Tieria all dress up for Halloween! Looks like Lyle is the only one that’s having fun - everyone has quite the serious or annoyed expression on their faces. But hey, guys, you should smile like all of those pumpkins that you’re holding!

Kingdom Hearts
Ok, not really an anime…but it could count, right? After all, it’s evil!Sora! With evil Goofy and Ducky. It’s their antis that have come out to haunt us this Halloween! But hey, I wouldn’t mind hanging out with them for Halloween. They look positively frightening!

K-on
Aww, these girls look so cute and like they’re having fun! They’re dressed up in such cute costumes that it looks more cosplay than Halloween costumes. Wait! It might be cosplay!

Lucky Star
This cast probably seems to be the most normal one out of the group. I mean, their costumes look pretty normal, right? Nothing out of the ordinary. Simple is good. Reminds me of the time that I wore my tennis clothes on Halloween. I’m a tennis player…dressing up as a tennis player.

Neon Genesis Evangelion
It’s a vampire, king, and kitty time! The guys of Neon Genesis wish you a Happy Halloween full of scares and frights! Looks a bit terrifying, but not really, right? Three hot guys, what more could you want?

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
One of my favorite mangas of all-time! I just love CLAMP and their drawings. Fay as a vampire gentleman, Sakura as a cute pumpkin princess, Kurogane as a demon, and the two Syaorans as a cat and ghost. Love this picture! Just looks so festive and fun!
