Yamashita Tomohisa’s younger sister, Yamashita Rina’s, earlier blog post about her brother’s withdrawal earned a stream of angry fans, and has now resulted in another blog post of apology.

Her earlier blog post on October 10th consisted of, “I want everyone to understand his endurance over these past eight years… I think he’s faced many things way beyond my imagination…”

This in turn angered many fans, who responded with, “What has he endured?” and “You’re making fools of the fans.”

Rina quickly apologized with the response of “I am very sorry that I have caused displeasure and trouble to many people because of my inappropriate statement. My brother never talks to me about his work. Despite this, I selfishly described it in that way. Please accept my sincere apologies.”

Although Rina’s innocent statement might have offended NEWS fan, it did not at all justify the fan’s backlash that Rina received.
