Although Kawaguchi Haruna just finished her role in Ouran High School Host Club, she hasn’t failed to already move onto her next big mission. Actresses Shida Mirai and Kawaguchi Haruna have announced to have been selected as the star roles in a new horror movie titled “POV ~Norowareta Film“.

The film will be directed by the “master of Japanese horror”, Tsuruta Norio. This will be the second time Shida and Kawaguchi have had the chance to co-star together. (their first being LISMO’s drama “Koiiro Waltz“.)

The horror documentary is supposed to feature actual real life experiences the cast and program officials had suffered through. The scene is set at Kawaguchi’s junior high school, where the story starts with the two of them recording a program for mobile phones. Shida expressed her horror with, “I’ve never experienced anything more frightening than this.”

This is the first experience both actresses have had working with something horror related. Shida commented, “I don’t think I’ll ever forget that experience even if I become an adult. I’m worried because everyone will see this in a movie form.” She also proved her friendship with Kawaguchi by saying, “If I was alone, I would’ve been scared and ran away. As Kawaguchi-san and I combined our power, we were able to overcome it.”

Kawaguchi in turn stated, “I didn’t think my careless remarks would turn out like that. When I think about it now, it’s terrifying. I don’t want to think about it anymore. I don’t know what would’ve happened if Mirai-san wasn’t there.”

“POV ~Norowareta Film” is scheduled to premiere on the February 18th of next year.
