On October 19th, Hamasaki Ayumi wrapped up her “POWER of MUSIC” tour in Saitama City at the Saitama Super Arena.
Because of the Tohoku Earthquake back in March, Ayumi renamed her concert tour to “POWER of MUSIC” and at the concert she encouraged everyone to send their love throughout Japan. At the concert, she performed 21 songs in front of a crowd of 25,000 including a collaboration performance with AAA’s Urata Naoya and Korean singer JUNO, JYJ’s Junsu’s twin brother.
Ayumi also announced that she raised over 123 million yen (about $1.6 million USD) from selling the charity t-shirts she created and the money was donated to the Japanese Red Cross.
