
On Sunday, October 30th, Kawasaki City in Kanagawa Prefecture celebrated the holiday with the largest Halloween event in Japan, a Halloween Parade.
This is the 15th year of the event and approximately 3,500 cosplayers came to march the 1.5 kilometer (0.9 mile) parade. Those that came out dressed up in a wide range of costumes from anime characters like Totoro to characters from Hollywood such as the Cheshire Cat. In addition to the 3,500 cosplayers, 110,000 spectators came out to the event.
