It’s been announced that SMAP’s annual store, SMAP SHOP, will be opening at Akasaka Sacas on December 8th. SMAP SHOP has been opened for a limited time every year since 2005. This year’s theme will be ‘RUNNING SMAP’, so the shop’s floor will be designed like an athletic track.

SMAP SHOP will feature outfits worn by the SMAP members, life-sized footprint replicas, and video clips from their debut era. The store will also carry original goods, such as photo books, pen sets, copies of their popular 390 yen single, and a new live DVD titled “THANKS FOR BEIJING”.

Member Inagaki Goro commented, “I visit SMAP SHOP every year. This year’s theme will be ‘RUNNING SMAP’, so we will continue to run alongside everyone. Please, come and visit the shop.” SMAP SHOP will be open from December 8th to January 9th from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Because of the shop’s popularity, sources suggest, “the popular products will sell out, so please come early.”
