It has been announced that AKB48’s Sashihara Rino will soon debut as an actress with the NTV drama titled “Muse no Kagami”.

In the drama, Sashihara will play as a girl who seems to have nothing to recommend her, but after being discovered by an erstwhile great actor “Okita Ryu”, she starts growing, and awaking as an actress.

When asked on how she feels about this series she said, “To star in drama series for the first time, I feel full of anxiety about my acting, but I will try my best so that I wouldn’t have to bother my co-stars. I’m looking forward to see how the world of Fukuda-san will come out!!!”

“Muse no Kagami” will be broadcast starting on on January 14th every Saturday at 1:55 am ~ 2:10 am.
