Recently, on S/mileage’s official YouTube channel, the long awaited MV for their single “Chotto Matte Kudasai!” has finally been released. This single is the first single to be without 1st generation member Maeda Yuuka, and the second single to have all the 2nd generation (former sub-members) as full-fledged members. The song is very upbeat at fits S/mileage’s cute image, but I have to say them saying “Chotto matte kudasai!” every other line got on my nerves a little bit, and the high notes that Fukuda Kanon (purple), Wada Ayaka (dark blue/purple) and Takeuchi Akari (red) didn’t fit in the song as well as I had liked. The video was quite adorable, however, and had the basic dance shot mixed with close ups and some other scenes of them drawing on a clear wall and…. smashing into it? Over all, it was very adorable and well done.
