Idol group S/mileage will star in the upcoming horror movie “Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro – Igyou,” which is set to be release to theaters this summer.
“Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro – Igyou” is a spin-off (the 5th actually) of the drama series “Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro.”
S/mileage was chosen because of their simplicity and Producer Niwa Tamon Andrew’s desire to test their acting potential. He said of leader Wada Ayaka, “She has a wonderful sense of acting; she could be a back-up for large-scale actresses.”
Wada seems to be excited at the prospect of staring in a horror movie, prompting fans to watch it by saying, “It would make me happy if it will scare many people!”
I love scary movies, so this is pretty cool, I think. I’ve never watched a horror that stared a famous idol group. I hope a lot of S/mileage fans support them by going to the theatre.
