Today’s video-of-the-day features traditional folk group Rin’ admiring the “Sakura Sakura.” I have a soft spot for Japanese traditional instruments and music, especially when it is given a modern pop flavor. It is very calming and allows for the language to shine more intensely. These ladies play a wide range of instruments, and the ones featured here are koto (the long stringed instruments), biwa (the guitar-like), and shakuhachi (flute).
