AKB48 member Kasai Tomomi has been casted as a guest voice actress on the popular TV Asahi animation “Digimon Xros Wars.” With the return of Digimon to TV screens after a second three year absence, it seems that Toei will try anything to grab the audience’s attention. Mamora Goda’s “Mori no Asagao” Manga is soon to be adapted into Live-Action series and it is set to premiere this October on TV Tokyo network as announced on the recent issue of Manga Action. The cast, timeslot and other details are yet to be announced by Manga Action. Mori no Asagao’s story revolves around the secret friendship between a rookie prison guard and a death row felon. Goda has won the Grand Prize in the Manga Division of the 11th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards in the year 2007 for his portrayal of the modern Japanese capital punishment system. More »
