From Girlybubble: Hello Kitty fans really surprise me sometimes with all the unique things they would do for their beloved kitty. Now I think that customizing an exhaust pipe to look like Hello Kitty is definitely unique. It seems like a really good way to show your love for your favorite Kitty but it seems to me that you would have to be a really big fan to do something like that. I really am impressed with the person who decided to do it but it doesn’t seem like something I would do. More »

From Girlybubble: Today’s user-submitted link courtesy of SyndicateS2 is a photo of a kawaii Rilakkuma set! This set includes 3 most adorable Rilakkuma bears, a tray with tea cups and cups with Rilakkuma toast! Most cutest thing ever! I especially love the toast shaped like Rilakkuma. I wouldn’t eat that! From Girlybubble: Have you ever been struggling to fold straw stars? I’ve tried this tutorial and now I’m super fluent on folding these stars. I’m aiming to fold a whole jar of them! That will take awhile though. After lots of practice, you’ll get the hang of it. More »

From Girlybubble: And she’s conquered another body of water! An 8-meter (26.2-feet) tall Hello Kitty spectacle has appeared at Odaiba Beach as part of a campaign to promote tree-planting activities in Tokyo. Now I don’t know what Hello Kitty has to do with trees, but I do know that that’s the most adorable thing I’ve seen to float on water. More »

From Girlybubble: When I went back to Shanghai last summer, I found myself spazzing over all the cuteness in their stationary stores and I’ll admit, I bought a lot of things I shouldn’t have. The main culprit? Kawaii Decorative Tape. Having been accustomed to boring, so-called ‘invisible’ tape, my mind was blown when I saw that tape could come in different kawaii designs. Apparently Asians are a lot more creative when it comes to scrapbooking and the like because these are way too precious to be used for simple paper taping (although you could, I guess). More »

A Japanese ranking site has just revealed the results for their poll - “Johnny’s in twenties who have strong Tsundere image.” Tsundere is a term referring to people who are normally cold in personality but becomes overly fawning when they are around their love interest. So, who got the top spot for this interesting poll? Let’s start from the bottom to make it more exciting… More »

From Girlybubble: I don’t know much about Pullip dolls, other than they can be expensive and are a mixture of cute and strange. I say strange because they almost look like they could come to life. I came across these Sanrio themed dolls, and they are pretty unique, in fact I kind of want the Hello Kitty one. I’ve found Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and My Melody. I love the little Cinnamorrol outfit! More »

From Girlybubble: Unfortunately I’ve never come across a flower shop in America that makes these adorable Hello Kitty flowers, but luckily the Internet provides instructions on how to make these on our own. Aside from white carnations, everything you need can be bought in one stop at any craft store: buttons, wire, ribbon, craft foam, glue, etc. These look so cute and pretty by themselves, or mixed in with other flowers as a special touch. There is a blog called Zakka Life that shows all the instructions on how to make them! Round buttons look ok, but I’d make sure to try to track down some oval ones instead. More »

From Girlybubble: Adding kawaii clip art to photos is really popular in Japan! In fact, they have a lot of photo booths there for the very purpose of adding cute picture decorations. Puricute is a website I discovered a few years ago, it allows you to upload your pictures and decorate them with little sparkles and other pretty/girly embellishments. More »

From Girlybubble: Lazy Bear Blog has a new paper craft up, featuring Rilakkuma and friends having a jam session. You too can make this cute paper craft by visiting the blog and printing out the pattern and instructions. It comes complete with the piano, guitar, and maracas too. I think the chicky is just so cute, I don’t think I’ve seen many paper crafts this detailed. I think I’d really love to make some just so I could use it in photography. More »
