A live-action adaptation of Shōhei Harumoto’s Kirin motorcycle racing manga has been set for release this fall. Claude Maki will star in the film as the lead role. The director of the film is Gitan Ōtsuru, he said about the pressure in filming what has been called ‘The motorcycle-riding bible’. Friends: Mononoke Shima no Naki, Japan’s first feature-length 3D CG-animated film. It is an animation directed by Takeshi Yamazaki.
